After 8 inches of rain in the last 24 hours, I'll be peeking in my trunk in the AM. I'd put money on water there.....

Just did the same. I spent an hour going through all of the sanding and buffing on the left one, then found I can get the same results in about 5 minutes with the cleaner and a power buffer when I did the right one. Both look MUCH better now.

Hmmm not a bad idea. I have a 10" orbital buffer afterall...

Only question I have is does anyone know a way to UV protect them? Obviously all the sanding would remove what'* left of the factory UV protectant. Would automotive clear coat do the trick?

I got a $5 turtle wax kit from O'Reillys which has a sealing wipe that put a protective coating on. It takes 24 hours to dry though.. so don't put it on if you need to drive anywhere or you will end up with bugs stuck in it. I ended up having to wipe it off.

This also came with the little sanding pads which I think work better than the power sanding kits for your drill.

Nice! The Yukon looks right at home pulling a trailer.

I painted some parts of my interior with plasti dip today. Might do the window switches tomorrow if I have enough left.

So far, not much. I have the day off, so I might go clean up the shop a little bit.
