I got my car in the garage today for the check up.. Not really news I wanted to hear, but I was expecting worse. I need 2 new rotors and pads for the front, a set of shoes for the rear, and control arm bushings. They were quite scary looking.. So they ordered the parts and I have to go in at 8am Monday to get it installed. I'll probably get the CEL code(*) read then.

That shouldn't be to bad cost wise. Brakes are something you don't want to skimp on anyways.

Yeah, I had that conversation with the mechanic. I'm going to be doing a lot of city/highway driving for the next 8 months, seems I go to school about 4 hour drive from where I live, so good brakes is more of a necessity for me.

installed 4500K HID'* in the fogs. headlights coming as soon as i can figure out how the hell to do it with a fully encapsulated housing. the only wires on the outside of this thing is the park and directional. all headlight wires sealed up inside the headlight

I really didn't do much today, just chilled out. Packed the truck for the weekend.

took the truck out to go get my buddies tilt trailer to haul the car to the races, showed it off to some family who came up, will be racing tomorrow night 8pm
