Replaced the rear spring hangers and shackle on the 3500 today. Glad I had a friends lift, cutting torch, and air chisel on hand. Brutal but done. Tomorrow the differential cover and refill the gear oil will be cake and back to the races.

Well, my power lock switch on the passenger door of my car is FUBAR'd.. not really sure how that happened, but it don't do anything and is just loose.
I put 2 new tires on the front of my dad'* 04 Century today. That car feels so much different to drive than mine. It has almost double the kms, but feels like its more "solid" than mine, but the gas pedal is soft as hell.

Finished truck today, big Dinner, monster soft ice cream cone. Waiting for RTV to set on differential cover to fill with gear lube and it'* off to the forest for 3 100+ foot maples I dropped 2 weeks ago. Charged the GXP Battery and might take it for a spin tomorrow. She needs a slow cruise to warmup, then some WOT'* thru the gears to get happy.

Borrowed a friends truck while mine was crippled and did the same plus a good wash and microtex. It works better than trying to put money in his pocket he won't take anyway. Now to put the same effort into the GXP......

Stopped at a local junkyard to see what they had for tires.. he had one really nice meaty one that looks new its a snow tire i wish i had two of them.. he gave me a deal he put the tire on the rim for me and it was only 25 out the door.. as opposed to 45-50+ from the local tire shop
also while i was there i got a new trunk latch for only 10 i took it off myself.. the guy really liked me and gave me some good deals and told me he can get me whatever i need for my buick and honda for very cheap so im throwing his business on my derby car.
Fixed my latch we had to tear apart the ring that it clamps onto to bend it so that the latch would fit.. my old latch was destroyed from being rearended and having to slam the trunk for it to stay shut.. works like a charm now.
