I hop in the car to leave. Starts...stumbles...dies. Odd, kick the key again, same thing. Hopped out and did this.

Notice the relay with a pin sticking out. Bent the pin on the fuel pump speed relay. Bypassing the resistor that commonly goes bad. Diagnosed and fixed by the third start attempt. :Thumbs

It'* bend that and drive or pull the bumper cover and washer bottle to get to the resistor. The replacements go on teh firewall behind the motor. Since I don't have one and can't get one easily.. Bent pin puts the fuel pump at a full 12 volts. Which is exactly what all the hotwire kits do, except they add larger gauge wire as well. I'll tune for it and call it a day. Probably cut the pin off the relay.

thats good to know for the future, i just may need to do that with my derby car
worked on the bumper of my friends camaro for a bit then got home at 8:30pm and ripped the carpet, passenger seat and tons of plastic out of the honda then took it for a drive on the dirt roads and found out its amazing at drifting for a FWD
