I did a tune today. Was easy, got the tune Emailed to me, then Emailed it back when done. Would like to do stuff in the shop, but I'm not really up to it. Not sure why, almost feels like I partied a bit to much yesterday.

Changed the driven gear for my speedometer in my truck. Then hooked up the speed sensor for my digital dash and hooked up the speedo cable so I can run the original speedometer under my dash. I put resin on the dash I made for the truck. I also started wiring up the digital dash, but ran out of solder so I didn't finish it.

Drove further.. I'm up past 183,000 now. Considering the trans acted up on Dec 17th and I've driven over 10K since then..this last trip was nearly 3 hours each way to Lake George.... who says these transmissions suck?
I'm ready to endorse Lucas stop slip though. Pretty sure the clutches are shot, seals are probably in need of replacement and the valves are likely slopping the valve body. i'm gonna keep on driving til I can get the trans built and into the car.

Was talking to a local guy that wants to buy a car with a slipping trans. I said check the fluid. It looks like dirty motor oil. Yikes. Ya, fluid and filter change. May need a rebuild on the trans. so I may get that job if he picks it up.
Was talking to a good friend, he has a shot at picking up a grand national with a blown trans, wants to know if I can fix or swap it out. To get a chance to work on a grand national, heck ya.
