What did you do with your car/truck or shop today?
Put an O2 sensor on, took out 2 of the 4 washers that I put between my fly wheel and tq. converter, drill and extracted a broken bolt on the transfer case, bolted in my half shaft, and did some body work all on my truck today.
Been working on the house. Overall coming along great, finishing takes forever as expected.
Did LIM'*, pullies etc on an 2000 Daytona GTP yesterday. Since there were only 1500 (or 2000) of these procduced I figured it would be neat to have two at once and called another local buddy with one. Two Gaytonas at one time

heard from the shop today. seems the struts that kyb outlet said will fit my car, won't. it'* bad enough they sent me fronts when i ordered rears....but they didn't even send the right fronts. i'm beyond pissed right now.
i ordered from them a couple times without issue. they have the wrong replacement listed, on the kyb website they have sr4023 for replaceing the air struts.

I finally wired up the lights for my car dolly.

Then I corrected some problems I was having with it. The dolly would jump around when moving and the tires would squeal. Took the tires off and put a straight edge on the hubs and found them to toe in about 4 inches over 3 feet. Looks like the axle bowed a bit when the guy I got it from welded it all up. So I shimmed the hubs a bit. Now I have less then 1 inch toe in over 3 feet. No more jumping, no more squealing. Pulls nice and straight.

I also removed the hooks that guy put on and instead made a hole in the plate. Only thing left to do is find a new set of tires.

As soon as I drove off to work, my outer tie rod started popping like crazy because it was raining out. I was not happy and ended up driving to work anyways. I made it there and back. Pulled the outer tie rod off and walked down to Autozone to exchange it. Walked all the way back and the new tie rod wasn't threaded right. I had to walk back down to Autozone and they agreed with me. They didn't have anymore in stock so they gave me a refund and bought the 1 year tie rod. They said I can bring it back when they get the lifetime warranty one back in. Now, it'* not popping, as of yet.
Went mudding....After about a half hour Bubba stalled...i go WTF sure as **** no fuel...fuel pump not running WTF only a few months old its gonna get shoved up orileys *** tomorrow if its not the relay or a disconnected wire!
