Hopefully you didn't get another ticket leaving town..lol
no, but I didn't waste time getting out of there. And within a few days they put up a sign right as you turned on to that particular road.

wow, one more time and the judge just might throw the whole thing out
my lawyer asked to have it dismissed today. but the judge wanted to give the cop a chance to find his notes.
that'* what I said 1 more time, bye bye
And you were right. I had court today and the cop didn't show so the judge let me off

Is there any reason why you were driving 74?
Were there any circumstances that might point to your innocence?
I feel your pain..... In court fighting for my License at the present for 46 over and have two others in 18 months. Bastards are trying to make it a habitual offender case and want jail time and a full years suspension. I quess I'm gonna have to start playing it straight and get my aggressions out at the local track. Total cost so far $1500 and not finished..........NY sucks!!!!!!!

NH also has the Habitual offender law. I was well on my way with 8 speeding violations within a 12 month period. I had to go to a hearing where I stood a chance of losing my license for a whole year, but the magistrate gave me only 3 months. I soon after moved out of NH and never got stopped for speeding again. Go figure

Squela, i just noticed your quote. Lucky I didnt get the lock of your hair before court

LOL Now thats what i need ..... an old NY State trooper vehichle. Ya it'* a mess Green and now I met my lawyer up in NY 80 miles from my house for a meeting with the DA and possible finish to it all and The court house was locked, no DA and no Judge. so the $1500 retainer is eating up fast.

I asked him if this was grounds for a dismissal and he said no. Not the same as police not showing up but I dont get that. We were ready, and they were not. Didnt even tell us no one would be there or why. That was Monday and now it'* Thursday.I'm afraid to call the dam attorney for fear another "consultation fee' will be tacked on to my retainer.

Upside is I've kept my license so far and rather take the suspension thru the winter months. It'* looking like no jail time, a huge fine and 6 months without a License.

Keep it o the track youngins, the ole man is losing his taste for "street competion" with a quickness here!
