My one time I needed to appear, I just showed up, the prosecuter caught me in the lobby, took me to a room, showed me the calibration certs and other stuff, and said we can reduce you from a 15 over to a 5 over. I said great, paid the lady at the window, shook the hand of the prosecuter and the trooper, and said have a nice day.

well i had my day in court today. and yet a twist of irony. the judge calls the trooper and i up to his bench and before i say a word the cop asks for a posponment because he can't find his notes. the judge pospones the date to june and im back to waiting...

my lawyer asked to have it dismissed today. but the judge wanted to give the cop a chance to find his notes.

also i lucked out and got a different judge today. he seems a bit kinder than the other judge. but only time will tell how nice he is.

I got a ticket once for speeding. I had to go to court 3 times cuz the cop could never make it and had to get continued. I got the ticket dropped cuz I proved there was no sign for 3/10th'* of a mile. When I turned onto the road I just did what the previous roads speed limit was and the judge found me innocent. That cop was p'oed!!! I got out of that town fast as I could.

Hopefully you didn't get another ticket leaving town..lol
