The house I just bought has 8' ceiling and I am fine with it but my G/F keeps saying she wish we had that 9' Ceilings. I could care less myself. Man I wish I had my house custom built.

Realistically? Nothing.

However, it'* a nice selling feature. It'* what will seperate your $200,000 priced home from the one up the street that'* identical to yours except that it has 8' ceilings. It may help you sell faster, but that'* about it.

No. The room above the garage will have one window on the end of the house. But I do have "expansion plans" above the garage already.
