Ok, here'* the real question: How many cars will you be able to fit in the garage?

Soldier coursing on the foundation!!? Those forms lead me to believe that this was a cast in place concrete foundation, but why the pattern in the concrete?

Otherwise the workmanship looks good. Nice to see rebar in there.

Thats the thing..its not masonry (cinderblock)..its poured concrete. My only other guess is precast, but the formwork is throwing me off...Johnny! need more details mang!

If you look closly, you can see the brick pattern on the forms. They do that on a huge percentage of poured foundations around here.

And, no, this will not be a 600,000 house... USD or CAD.

Incredible...never seen that around here, mind you most of my attention is large scale commercial design/construction. What are the advantages of having the pattern on the inside of the foundation wall? I can see the benefit on the outside. If the foundation is partially exposed, you have a nice finish ready for paint/finish.

What are the plans for the exterior cladding? Brick? Stone? Siding?

Advantage having it on the inside? Um, better than a flat concrete wall? Either way, made no difference to me.

Partial brick front, vinyl siding on the rest. Gas fireplace, breakfast "nook", garage is called "extra deep". Family room, living room (or Study, according to floorplans), kitchen, formal dining, breakfast bar, rear patio, 4 br, upstairs laundry...
