I noticed that, too. I gave them a jump test and whatnot and compared to the other stairs that are solid wood and they actually seemed stronger.

It'* really coming along. You guys must be getting a bit anxious and excited right about now, huh?

And of course, make sure you keep a real critical eye out for defects during your walk through. It'* your last chance to record things on a punch list that you don't like and would like fixed before move in.

And yes, I'm also jealous that you have a basement. I lost mine when I moved back to Florida. The movers forgot to bring it.... :?

Look for little things like this that you may only catch in certain lighting conditions:



Looks like primer bleedthru or joint compound that wasn't dry around the outlet on the right side wall.
