Complicated 3D computer design work takes more resources than almost antyhing else. Techincially, this laptop isn't a laptop. It'* classified as a mobile workstation.

video card = Nvidia > ATI (IMO) with at least 256-512MB...PCI-express Preferable

BTW bill, just to continue the braggin I am on a mobile workstation right now..of course I am in on a sunday
2.1GHz, 2048MB DDR2 Ram, 100GB 7200RPM babbby. oh and I run at 1900X1200, But that ram is nice when I have...well 20 some odd windows/chats open right now
