.44mbps = 440kbps or 440,000 bits per second

44k was 44,000 bits per second

Dial up pretty much maxed at 54k (54,000 bits per second)

It'* awful but I lived with dial up most my life, at least I can watch YouTube with this that'* all I ever really wanted.

No, that'* way too low. I've lowered my cutty by about 1". That is just crazy low. Around here if you if a pot hole you will mess something up if your car is that low.

I frequently download 8gb games that wind up taking 2 days+. So I'm needing more speed lol
