We had Xfinity before these jokers. Xfinity was probably 2-3 times better in all 3 categories and was graded at a C+. However, I'd love to have that back. I can barely watch videos online on my computer now. What irritates me is that you have to use their crappy router.

Ha. My parents have CenturyLink. They have to though as they live in the sticks. They have their lowest package and their speed is only 800k at best. I just stick with my 3G when I go to visit.

If my conversion is correct Sarah, you are actually slower than a 56K dial up modem that connected at full speed. 56k is half of 1Mbps and you are at 38k or 0.38Mbps.

When i had dial up in the city of elmira it was faster than Sarah it ran about .44mbps or 44K

Lol no you are way off Mike. 500kbps would be approximately half of a 1mbps connection (approx because of 1024kb=1mb NOT 1000kb=1mb), so 54k is about .05mbps
