I saw this at the junkyard yesterday. Made me feel sad as this is one of the more sought after W models. Any W body guy would love to have one of these.

How in the heck did that thing end up in the junkyard??!?! I'm surprised it didn't end up in some collectors garage.

It had 155k miles and was pretty rusty. The interior is gone. It would be so hard to find a set of seats with the Indy logo.

it looks like all the good stuff is gone already.

not my favorite year w'* anyway, if i could have any new condition one it would be the 93ish gp. but the engines are lame. i would really like that year with the 3500 i have now and a manual transmission. that would be the perfect w body

I want to take a 96 GTP and drop in a l67. Which in a 96 should be straight forward. Taking a 93 and putting in a 3500 would take a lot of electrical work.

It'* by no means impossible

not impossible but improbable because finding a decent one in the first place isnt easy and those that are will be expensive, and so would putting the 3500 and its wiring and junk in. i think ive read about the 3500 from a g6 with the 6spd being used in various conversions, but that makes them expensive too.

i think on my monte and most others, what it boils down to is the lack of aggressive looks like a gp and the auto just makes it that much more impala/grandpaish. i think if i had a 6spd i could live with just about anything else though

Dreams! Gotta love em. I'd like to drop a LS6 with a 6 speed in my Bonneville. Converted to RWD of course and keep the Sleeper look going.
