Dealership rip-off - May 14, 2008 update - PAGE 22
Oh I know, but I want to be able to collect as much as possible. The money is legally MINE and owed to me if I get the judgement. Plus he'll have ANOTHER public record on his credit report.

I think someone already has put a lein on his property.
What property I am not sure. But I see a "motion to execute property" or something to that effect in the case lookup. I could probably put a lein on his dealership, but as far as finding out what other property he has that will be difficult since I have to do that myself. The courts do jack chit to help you out.
You'll likely have to use a collections agency to help you get the money after you get the judgement.
In the REI industry, a common firm for landlords to use is Merchants and Medical. http://www.mermed.com/
If you have the contact info for the person you're trying to collect from (which you do), it costs 25% of whatever they're able to recover. If you don't have the contact info and they have to track him down, it'* 50% of whatever they're able to recover.
If you want a direct contact, PM me and I get you in touch with one of their representatives.

Well, looks like the ***** answered my claim. He DENIED it, which means he either denied he is responsible at all, or he denied that he owes the whole amount (which I'd expect him to deny anyway).
I'm not sure if he plans on going to court, but the fact he denied it would lead me to believe he would show up.
I really don't want to lose then this guy gets away with it. I kind of wish I still had the Sebring. Time to get some (free) legal advice....

I definitely won't. That would be great if he didn't show at court. If he'* really only planning on me giving up he'* pathetic. He should have learned by now. This ordeal started 10 months ago....hard to believe!
