Now if I lived near you I would go there and start looking at a car.. Then when the owner gave me his name I be like... Hey aren't you the guy that was on the news the other night for ripping somebody off ?

That would be hilarious to me.

I was thinking of having some friends do that actually.

I watched it. Good exposure, but aren't "honesty" and "car dealer" never really connected? I havent dealt with one yet that didnt give me a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach the whole time.

I learned the hard way about dealers, too. The one I bought my 95 SSEi from never filed the paperwork for the warranty I bought from them, so they could pocket the money. If I hadn't had the problems I did, they would have gotten away with it, too.
I think there oughtta be a regulating body specifically for dealerships.

BTW, Pete, you don't do bad on camera.

BIG THANKS to everyone who rated and commented!! I had my co-workers do so as well.

Tracy, thanks for doing that!

I e-mailed Dave Taylor the link to the video. It'* been a week since he said he'd tell "the bookkeeper" to send the stuff out. I still have nothing.

I said:
Quote:
I'm still waiting for:
Keys
Floormats
$55 for window shades
.48/mile for 600 miles (half of 1200)
I think that'* reasonable.
No response yet. And he always has replied right away when I e-mail him now. I bet he'* shocked to see the story.
