Default Computer Video Display Problem

I have some music vids and car vids on my comp, no matter what vid i play, weather its streamed right off the net has problems. Basically the color of the video is WAY to bright, you can still see the picture but the color is so screwed its annoying. Does this in Windows media player.
Any suggestions
