Were you parked on an angle or incline?

Nope. I have been experiencing hard starts over the past few weeks, and am starting to see KR at shifts, which I haven't before, which leads me to believe it'* running lean due to a weak pump. :(

And son-of-a-bitch, the saga continues.

I have determined my gas IS being stolen. Why... why have I determined this?

I put a 1/4 tank of gas in my car LAST NIGHT, and went to go run some errands this morning. So I get in, start the car, and low and behold.. *STALL*. Look down at the gauge, and guess what? NO GAS! I proceeded to get out, and checked my gas cap, and it was LOOSE! I KNOW someone is stealing my gas, and I am NOT happy about it whatsoever. This makes it the 5th time gas has been missing out of my car. I am buying a locking gas cap, and we are mounting a nightvision camera temporarily to monitor the car. I have a strange suspicion that the person stealing my gas is EVO boy that lives about 10 houses down on the one street near me. Why do I have this suspicion? Maybe because I have caught this particular car parked TWICE in front of my house for no reason whatsoever. Gosh I am so PISSED. I am afraid to rat them out if I catch them because I fear of my car getting vandalized.

I'd like to know how he did it when your car should have an anti-siphon screen like both of mine do.

I am not exactly sure how they are doing it, but yes, it'* gone. I went and got 2 gallons of gas, and put it in it, and sure enough, fired right up, gauge read the 2 gallons just fine.

Is it entirely possible that my screen could have been poked out with a solid, flexible rod?

Doesn't your gas door automatically lock when the doors are locked? I vaguely remember my old 92 SSEi having such a feature.

Mine doesn't work. It needs lubed I think, but it'* stuck in the open position. I will fix that today, but yes, I am getting a locking cap. I am sick of this ****. I can't be having my precious $3.36 a gallon gas being stolen.
