General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Please don't hurt me for asking this.

I'm just not a big ford 3.8 fan here... How many 3.8 Ford Thunder Birds Super Coupes with the 3.8 SC do we still see?

I haven't seen one in ages..
I see a lot for sale on Autotrader. Was their supercharger any good though?

Dont hate Ford. Everyone puts out shitty cars. Plus I think the SC is a Eaton, but not too sure about it.

Well he brought the price down to 500 $ and well I bought the thunder chicken. LOL ,. My dad took it to the only other mechaninc he trusts other than himself and 50$ later the thunderchicken'* oil problem is fixed. Now it runs fine a little rattly in the support mounts but other than that it runs pretty good.

I see a white Thunderbird SC Coupe everyday... Parked infront of my apartment... It'* the guy across from me'* sons car... Been sitting there for just over 2 months... Only moved once... and that was after 4 hours of them working on it... and it moved over 1 space... Just my personal experience...

I think they are decent looking cars, but as others have said... it'* a ford. And I'm a GM man. But good deal getting it running for cheap. Looks like you might have made out well on this one. If it is in decent condition, I'd say sell it for $1000 or more if possible and buy another Bonneville...
