It was not a base car, leather ,auto climate and radio controls
Have 93SSEI w/130k. Am thinking it'* time. Read reviews on Edmonds and it scared me off.
Was I wrong or should I look at 2001'* rather than 1st model year change?

Well, it'* definitely low miles. I'm not sure about that price, have you checked Kelley'*? I'd say look it over real good bearing in mind some of the issues that are known about the 2000'* in general. The few problems that come to mind are trunk leaks, front door leaks, steering intermediate shaft lube etc. There was a recall for the throttle body gasket & fasteners.

Did a quick check at alldata.com, and it apprears that the 2000 has no more issues than the 2001. I say go for it.

I was talking to someone I know that has a Bonneville as a company car. He said his company was getting away from them because they took such a huge hit on resale. The price they are asking for the car you are looking at would certainly seem to confirm that.

If you like car who cares if you buy used, depreciation eatin by new car buyer.. They don't hold their resale like Honda or Toyota . The best car I ever bought was a 90 LE Bonneville,(new) been hooked since. Disappointed to read about problems with 3800 series 11. I like to buy 1 owner Florida cars, ( no rust) helps living here,
Perplexed!!!

You need a subscription to get at the details, but you can see the list of Technical Service bulletin / Recalls for free. Just select your car.

I bought my 2000 SE used in 2002 with 19k on it. I love this car and would recommend it! It has not had any more problems than any other car, with a few exceptions. Of these exceptions, this club can help you save hundreds by showing you how to fix it yourself.
I paid $15,800 and it is a bare bones model.
