messed up my exhaust.
When I bought my car, the right tip was pushed to the side against the cut out, and in just a bit. When I had my high flow cat put on, they were able to straight it out. Hopefully, the same could happen for you.

What'* worse is that I had the whole @#$^# family in the car with me and there were a couple QWEST guys working on a phone box across the street. They all got to hear some colorful metaphors that just brought more attention to the incident and there was absolutely no hope of lying about how it happened. Furthermore I could no longer lambaste any other family members about their lack of driving skills without fear of retribution and reference to this untimely episode. Now THAT really sucks.

Yes. PMing.
My 99 SLE came without an exhaust tip because the previous owner hit - of all things - a kitchen sink. I'm trying to find stuff tough enough to cut through the pipes so I can put on chrome tips, but my tools keep getting into weird places. I hope you don't have to get anything replaced. From how you've described it, it doesn't seem to be too bad. I hate the rain when it'* like that, but at least you don't have Indinapolis' snowfall from today. :?
