Today was transmission day.

3.29 gears and single chain.

Got it all closed up again.

Got the engine and trans all bolted back up.

Just a couple odds and ends and it will be finished. Then a few things to finish on the car and drop it in.

EGR still needs to be capped.
Yes, a HD trans. Has a hardened input shaft and I just installed a 7/8 chain with the 3.29 gears. Oh ya, and steel channel plate gaskets. Not going to blow those out.

Finished up the engine and trans today.
UIM installed.

60# injectors.

Everything installed.

Need to install this tomorrow.

Got the exhaust ready to go. Toss in the steering rack and wheel hubs tomorrow. Then next week when I have off again, the engine gets dropped in.

Those are some tall injectors, or is it my eyesight? Thats not the stock fuel rail either. Should have made a LV3 insert and ripped out those intake runners. I made one a couple months ago, it made a difference I tell ya.

Stock hight on the injectors, just much thinner then stock. And stock fuel rail. I questioned him about the intake. He'* going to stick with it for now, but may upgrade later on.
