Nope, I'm getting the 4300K kit. Why so much negativity about the ballast? Can you blame a Japanies company for copying a German product and selling it as there own? Atleast there copying a good product, and the kit isn't made in China. I decided to get the kit after both of my year old 9006 Silverstars went out two weeks ago within a few minutes of each other! I'm just tired of blowing $50 a year for Silverstars, and I can't go back to the "yellow" regular bulbs. The HID kit should last for 3000 hours, thats 10 years for me. I was worried about glare to other drivers with the HID'*, but I met up with a guy in the area from clubgp who has the same kit in his '05 GTP, and there is almost none at all. I just need to properly aim the lights after I put the kit in.

Anything aftermarket can break. Silverstars always burn out.

HID'* are a fun mod, I wish I had them.

Even quality product burns out.

Many of us have great results and no burnouts on SilverStars. I've got them running in both cars. 5 years and 2 years respectively.

yeah but with HID'* Wren, there is more then just a bulb that can go bad

You got the Burner, ballasts, And the Starters.

and the #1 thing that has problem in the HID world is the ballasts. that why CC and I and really trying to just warn people not to waste the money and spend a bit more and get the right and better parts.

Do you have any evidence that this particular brand/model is troublesome?

if you Check out HIDplanet.com and many other Good HID sites, you will find that ANY no name brand or cheap ones Suck. and most of them will die within a year or so.

Its well know inside the HID world but for people that do not do Research on them they will never know.

Mine are going on a year, made from Pilot but they still are a kit, and i love them.

You guys (corvette and bandit) talk so much **** about them and have locked up 3 HID threads that I have known, but you have never used them long term, you have no idea if they will fail.

Also CorvetteCrazy, the smart *** comment about me going back to school....is that really needed?
