Default Brighter dash backlighting?

Ok, to me, my dash is too dim. It may just be a bad alternator, but I would like to make it brighter. I pulled one of the bulbs out of the cluster, and it'* a PC195, which I found is a 1.8watt. Is there brighter ones I can install without problems? I thought I saw a thread where someone did this, but I can't find it. So if I can do this, let me know!

Could be the bulb is dieing and is about to go..Mine are dimmed in some areas and I'm replacing them this weekend hopefully. SilverShadow just changed his bulbs to the same and he said they look great. He also had the problem of them dimming in some areas.

Heres the link to were he tells how he did it and were he got his bulbs from: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...=988562#988562

Hope this helps!

No, none of the bulbs are blown, I just don't like how dim it is to me. If anything, I want to put brighter bulbs in the dash if higher ones are possible.
