Default Backlighting problems with a switch and radio LCD.
I've been having an issue lately that the passenger seat heater button is no longer backlit and the right 1/3 of the radio display LCD is not backlit. Are these fixable problems without involving a pricey service department? I haven't had the car too long, so I'm not very familiar with how it comes appart. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

It wouldn't be that hard to fix.. but you NEED your FSM.. otherwise forget about it .

I may just pick up another factory radio on ebay. Does anyone know what other years are compatible with a 2000 Bonneville?

I believe that the 2000 Radios use a Ribbon cable to ttach. I dont think that other years are comaptable
