just wondering if any of the dash lighting is replacable in my GXP without buying a new piece? i had an old 02 radio that i took the board out of with the leds still attatched, wondering if anybody ever tried to repair. i was planning on transplanting, but would like some advice before i start digging. on a related note, my shifter console light is out, i have dissasembled the shifter bezel and have gotten to the housing, but i cant seem to get the top off to get at the light inside. any suggestions?

soldering is no problem, i do alarms and remote starts with all soldered connections so i can do that. i was just wondering if anybody had any tips before i pull this apart and start. what are the chances that the lights arent actually burned, but the solder connection is weak? im thinkin about just heating the boards to try to reset the connections. ill let you guys know when im done how it came out.
