The center caps have already been done... i will be doing the door handles along with all the other items that are supposta be painted.

Yeah, ill be doing some polishing... It did smooth out nicly to where there was next to no orange peel and i had no runs, but unfortunatly i did get sone dust nibs here and there.

Peter, what kind of equipment did you use to apply the paint? My father still has a Binks gun from way back when he refinished furniture, and I have his compressor Its the kind with a screw on tank mounted below the nozzle, not the hopper setup above the nozzle.

and how do you lay the paint to prevent orange peel? Seems thats a skill all in itself, seeing as how many new cars finish has some degree of orange peel.

My weapon of choice is a DeVillbiss HVLP Plus+ Gun... I was trying to get a new DeVillbiss GTI Millenium gun, but couldnt get it in time :?

every job gets Orange peel its just a matter of getting it as smooth as much possible. which is just a matter od getting the enough paint on so it will flow out, but not so much that you get runs... its all a matter of practice. and temp.. and humidity...and...ect
