I sure am enjoying watching your progress, but this is the part I don't envy you on. This is what they must mean when they say "preparation is everything"

Bodys almost ready for paint. its sanded in 400, now all thats left is 500 and 600. then remask everything

and the front bumpers need to be gone over with the finner grits too (320 is the only step done)

Heres the bumper after 2 hours worth of sanding

not alot today, but tomorrow should be a big one!

I had a pesky crack that kept on showing through my work (bad repair on my part the first time)
So i ground a vally into it and filled it with riged plastic repair

then sanded smooth and re-primed

Heres that dent i mentioned that i missed... it was only about the sixe of a pee but after all the repairs it ended up this big...

I also got my door jam painted and i have all new rubbers for it

And one last thing i got done, I had the front rocker/fender molding drain hole opened way up so it wont hold leaves anymore and rot out that section again.

Once the car is on the road and GXP'* again, are you going to clean up those wheels to match the lovely centercaps?
