Wow I was cleaning my car last weekend and noticed a ton of soil right where you are describing. There were broken down leafs in there and under that there was about a lb of very nice soil. Scraped and vacuumed it all out and was amazed at how much crap was in there, also concerned about what it might have done to the body.
Anyway, I love seeing your progress and can't wait to see it painted!

I was gonna just give you guys after pics from in the booth, but i figured what the hell, so i rolled the car into the oven bake have put it on for a 30min bake... ill unmask it and get some after shots in the sun

ill let the pics do most of the talkin'
here it is in the booth and ready for sealer
with one coat of Polyuroxy sealer 9would have put two but ran out of activator :? )
Now after 4 coats of base ( over kill i know, but hell its my ca so whatever :P )
Now 3 coats of Clear and lookin oh so fine (sorry about the dust on the lense)
Its got my seal of approval
And a few Sun pics for you guys
