Called Cadillac, I explained what happened with OnStar saying it’* under warranty when it wasn’t, and also explained what happened with the dealer and how I was promised my car back Monday with an $1800.00 bill when it’* going to take a week or so now with much more on the bill.
She totally understands were I'm coming from, especially when I said if I knew it wasn’t under warranty I would have fixed it locally and didn’t spend money on a rental, hotel & time off work.
She said she will contact OnStar and the dealer and she will get back to me later on today. However I told my brother to come back tomorrow since we're leaving to Vegas Thursday and we have a lot to do for one day left (tomorrow).
As for the dealer, I'm somehow pleased with what the manager did. He said he will drop the charges on the labour and will also give me nearly cost on all the parts they put it in already and drop over $1200.00 in the price of the new transmission. So if I'm to go ahead with it I'll be paying $5100.00 for a new transmission that’* including 5% tax and all the shop supplies and all. Still a hefty price but not many shops understand common sense and do something about their mistakes.
So for now I'm done dealing with the dealer, he told me you said all the money going into the repair would be the same price as a new transmission. So we are waiving most of the labour off and giving you discount to match up to what you wanted. Just let us know if you want to go ahead with it.
Escalade stays in Edmonton for now, till I come back from Las Vegas. After i come back I'll be going down myself to finish the deal and pick it up. Everything will be held for now, just waiting on GM Canada to call me back.
I'm also looking into other options as we speak, as I might trade it in before I bring it back and buy something else.

Cadillac wont do anything about their mistake, $5440 later the tranny was replaced with a new one, this price doesnt include towing to Edmonton, rent a car and a hotel for 4 days thinking the car will be done 2 weeks ago. Then a flight back to Edmonton to pick it up.
including my time off, well over $8000.00 was wasted on this truck few months after their warranty, all thanks to OnStar that told me the car was under warranty, so did the dealership.
