Fuel rail pressure sensor
This evening it was about 1 degree celcius. After driving for 20 minutes, I was parked outside for 1hr 40 minutes. When I returned to the car and started it, the rpm'* were about 1200 and within 30 seconds dropped straight to 750 rpm.. I thought it should rev higher for a bit longer but I will try and check again as it is getting cooler in our area.
This is while sitting in park and you didn't touch the brake pedal and/or shifter, right?
Yeah, that'* fine. It measures a lot of things to figure out the high-idle necessity, then adjusts as it sees fit.
I bet if it sits overnight in the cold it will high-idle longer than the example above, and likewise if it is parked for less time in the cold it won't high-idle as much.
I'm glad to hear it has been running normally for so long since the repairs!
