Default 91 Buick Park Avenue Compressor bypass issue

I just finished taking out the AC compressor and installing a bypass pulley since my AC hasn't worked in years and the pulley on the compressor was throwing metal shavings in bogging down the engine. After I got done install in I went to start the car and it just clicked. Didn't even turn over. The wires that went to the compressor are now not plugged into anything. This consisted of 3 different sets of wires. I'm guessing that has to do with the issue but not sure. Any advice would be appreciated Thank you.

Check the major ground connectors, especially right there under the ICM.

Aside from that, I would start checking for power at the starter, etc.

Unless the bypass pulley is seized up...

Could remove the accessory belt altogether and see if that changes anything.

I did change the battery as well as the cables so that makes sense. I'll start there and see if I missed something.
