I hear ya Man and they dont have the sense to realize they are just screwing themselves warranty wise by not making the instrument cluster modular so individual segments can be replaced.

Unfortunately the law of large numbers probably is at play here.

90% won't have issues and that 10% is less than the costs to modularize...lol
Nice to have a warranty though.

Sure enough Bill. Really A GXP, I just noticed from your picture, that Your cluster is metric, and wonder how many units they made that way. Probably drives the price up given the rarity of the car to begin with. And wonder if we will ever get true production numbers on these models........

Ha no kidding...... Get this i need a new rear bumper cover Cost just under a grand Canadian... Where the SSEi rear cover is like 300.00 how stupid is that

I have the same issue with both my temp and fuel gauges. Anyone else having this problem.

i think the only difference between standard and Metric is the face since i have the Eng/Met button like you... so do i think a different gauge face is the reason things are so expensive no...

Yes. My temp gauge went crazy several months ago and lately my fuel gauge will stay on full until it'* at around 2/3 and then it starts working normally. The rest of the low fuel notifications are working correctly.

The cluster is covered under warranty I suggest you start riding Mr.Goodwrench'* A$$ cause to replace out of warranty it' almost a grand

I was told it was defective stepper motors. If your DIC is right, your sending unit is working. The stepper motors operate the individual gauges.
