We had a DAMN good time for an un-planned get-together. The drive to and from dinner was......ummmm......refreshing
Great people, the 4 kids got along GREAT. Can't wait for the rest of the crew to get here later this week.

Comparitive observations: Discussing weights, his car is 400-500 pounds heavier than mine empty. Not sure how much fuel he was carrying, but for passengers/cargo, we were pretty evenly matched (I had my 2 kids, and stuff for the meet in the trunk, including a full case of Bonnie-fest wine, and a full tank of gas). Pdad, Pmom, and Pkids in their car, unknown fuel. Launching, Greenzilla seems to have the edge, but obviously purely the weight advantage in the car itself. Bone-evil starts pulling on my about midway through 2nd gear, which is where his power advantage really comes into play, considering the headers. It'* a blowout from there. I think I have him for the 60', and MAYBE 0-60, but there'* no way to tell from the dinner drive for sure. He pulls on me at freeway speeds and higher, but not terribly. The old dog hangs in there pretty well.
We also shared observations on the PCM'*. My Jet took over 100 miles to 'settle in', and his INTENSE pcm was plug and PLAY! Must be the difference between OBD1 and OBD2.
He'* got better rubber than I do, but mine are siped, so launching is a pretty good dead-even affair between us if we go full-romp on the pedal. We seem to hook up at the same time. (tires were hot already from a good run or two when this happened). My whine is obviously a higher pitch. I couldn't hear his at all, but he could hear mine running side-by-side. My exhaust is louder (he likes it) but he has a resonator and I don't. My resonator will be installed on Tech-day at WCBF on Sunday.
A '93 with a Res is sacraligious!
Good fun it looks like, welcome to the big meet club finally
Swapping cars is fun too! and when you get back in yours, it feels more like yours. :? Hard to describe.
I wanna see pix of your new shirt Bill... "I fragged my Diff racing @ WCBF it splattered all over the track, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt"
