what do u recommend then if u dont like CCA? I like that specific wire because of its true diameter and its flexibity. there are over 5000 strands in a 0 ga Knu Koncept wire thats also a +
Strand count doesn't really matter unless you want to make curly-Q'* with your wire. I've used 2-gauge with 19 strands before (you read that right) and it took some serious current. Then again, it was also stiff enough that I coulda used it as an STB =P
Also, are you going to have to cut that wire down to fit it in ring terminals or your amp'* terminals? If so there'* no point. At any rate I would save up and get the OFC wire.

It flows thru it Raptor. But aluminum not only carries less current. it oxidizes under load quickly, so they clad it with copper to stall this.
Aluminum wire degrades. And it degrades quicker with high loads. If you have any heat at terminals galvanic corrosion and oxidation begins starts where you cut the wire and exposed the aluminum. They use to wire houses with aluminum wire in the 70'* until too many burnt down.
But, your not for now going to pull anything requiring the gauge your using so it should be alright. If you use it I suggest being liberal with no-ox grease wherever you cut that cable. It exposes the aluminum.
It has to be near 2/0 to match the capacity of 1/0 OFC. Doesn't mean your getting extra for your money. They just have to put in extra to match performance of "good wire"

I swear i saw on an episode of How Its Made or something similar they said "little know fact, currant/electricity flows along the outside of a wire and not actually threw it" I could be wrong.
Can u send me a link to the wire u r recommending?

Electricity carry'* through wire by magnetism pushing free ions through the wire (Simplest way to say). It'* through the entire body of the wire. Otherwise you could have hollow wire, or use anything as a core.......
I'm not an audio freak Raptor, I'm an electrician. OFC is OFC. Google it, shop, and take your pic. Wire is like Women, Tires, Batteries. Everybody has a fav.....It'* is UL your good. The rest is insulation/color choices. I'm sure the GearHeads will be back soon enough with their Favs.
