CRAZY insane Subwoofer Box Idea (w/ Pictures) - Page 3 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

i dont remember dimensions off the top of my head. but i know theres enough room for the subs. they arent too deep.

I plan on having a bunch more usable space between them and the left one is smaller cause it doesnt have to fit a whole subwoofer.

I am glad to see this thread is still going with some progress being made. As far as wood goes, I always prefer using a fine grade plywood like baltic birch or the like- so you made a great choice. It is stiffer, lighter, and doesn't split, chip, and soak up water like MDF. MDF is nice because its the cheapest option, but is really nothing special.

Let'* see some more.

The subs in my picture were made with HDF

Have you started building the Box yet?
As soon as I get my 3d program up and running i'm going to attempt a 3d view of your setup

i'm talking about 3d as in making to look real but not actually real. with carpet and subs in the box so you can see what it would look like finished.
