Guys, its almost that time again.... Time for me to get into some local stereo competitions. I am very excited about being able to pull into the competition lane in my bonne with my stereo system for the first time ever. The only thing that I want to change is I want to purchase a ported or vented box just for competing (I like my sealed box for everyday listening). So Does anyone know where I can get a large poted or vented box? A local stereo shop has one they can sale me for about $179.00 but I want to find one for less than that.
By they way, If you want to see pics of my car, here is the link. I haven't figured out how to put it in my sig or post it as my website.

That is one of the ony things that I don't know how to do. The thing that really sucks about all of the ones that I have found online is they are all smaller boxes. I want one somewhere in between 4-6 cubic feet.
its really not to hard. All you have to do is draw out what kind of shape you want, find the size of the box you need (cubic feet) and then measure stuff out. Then use a table saw to cut MDF or fiberglass something. Your amp rack is nice, but I suggest you drill some holes in the board, and run the wires through the holes. You only have to put small slits in the carpet, and it hides your wires. This makes your trunk look much cleaner.

you definately want a box built for your speaker.. spec wise
there are baffles inside and the port or vent has to be in a specific area to allow
for maximum air flow..
what I mean is if you have a 12 sub.. just buying a box that the sub will fit will not give you
the best sound ..

I understand that... and that is why I am asking for a box between 4 and 6 cubic feet... I know that I can't just use any type of box... Thats why I am doing research. I can't use the one built to factory specs because it will be a 7 cubic foot box and that is even too big for the bonneville trunk.
