You'll first need to remove the trim piece.. it'* one piece that goes around you HU all the way arond the steering wheel colum to the other side.. simply gently pry it out with a scredriver as there is tabs that holds them in place.. then after that.. ( I don't know mine was stolen out ) you should be able to look for the headunit mounts and there might be some screws holdin it in place.. you'll need to get a GM Headunit adapter plug also (unless you want to hard wire it onto the wires.. like I did.. cause After I bought the adapter.. it states INSIDE the package that I will need to buy YET another adapter adapter in order for it work with Bose unit.. pfft.. )

the plastic facing just comes right off by pulling it...start up in the corner by the lighter, it will all pull off in one piece. the radio comes out with 4 screws, 9/32". get a wiring harness and antenna adapter and installation kit at walmart for $20 all together prolly. then, just do what the kit says

if you want to be safer pulling that trim piece off and your shifter is on the column .... set the park brake, turn the key to the on position(you don't have to crank it) and drop the shifter down all the way...tilt the wheel down and it'* a little easier to manuvuer(sp?) out of there.. have fun
