Default Belt Tensioner Assembly Removal 3.3 1992 - Water Pump Removal???

Hi All,

Thanks for help in the past, but now I'm trying to replace the complete belt tensioner assembly on a 1992 Buick Century Custom Station Wagon 3.3 N engine.

The lower left mounting hole of the tensioner assembly I'm trying to remove has two nuts on it. After removing the first nut there is a bracket holding the heater hose to the stud bolt. I cannot pull the bracket off to get to the next nut without stressing the pipe coming out of the water pump. Do I have to remove the water pump from the engine block in order to slide that bracket off of the stud? If this is the case I would need to buy both the water pump gasket and the water pump to block gasket?

I've checked YouTube, the internet, looked throughout this forum for an answer and through my "unhelpful" Haines manual and also went to AutoZone repair help and have found nothing on the subject.

I'd be grateful for any help answering this question. THANK YOU!
