is 2000 stereo same size as 92-99 stereo? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

The size may actually be the same. Aren't they 1.5 DIN units? The mounting brackets may be completely different, though.

Since pontiac took the time to change the mounts between the floor shift and column shift 93'*, I'll bet bet they took the time the change the mounts on the 00+

When I got an Alpine in my 01 right away, there were no +00 mounting kits, used a VW Jetta kit to work looks nice and you can't tell, you can see it on pages 2-3 http://www.cardomain.com/id/taylordssei
