2017 Traverse access center console w/ bose system - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

First, Why?

If there is a problem, do you have more than 36,000 miles on the vehicle? If no, get it fixed under warranty.....

If yes, then you need to remove the center console.....

upper trim plate

both bucket seats

both console side trim panels

Disconnect transmission cable from console.....

one bolt cover on each side of the rear of the console......

10 bolts and 2 screws(just below HVAC head).....

electrical connectors....

console removed....

4 screws hold console speaker in place.....

i wanted to add a aftermarket sub and amplifier to my system. From what i read the subwoofer is in the center console and i need to add a line out converter at the subwoofer connector harness. Or could i do this at the factory amp? If i could do it at the amp, which wires are for the sub woofer?
