Default Center Console Padded Access Door

Mine is shot and needs to be replaced. The mounting holes on BOTH the lid (door) and the console are stripped so the screws don't hold anymore... Is it possible to retrofit/redesign and/or remount this? The foam is shot on both the door and the console. The front latch still functions... my main problem is the rear mount.

Anyone know where I can locate one of these? A bone yard might have them but I'm looking for an internet source as well... Also getting the proper color (dark gray/ black) from a bone yard would be a shot in the dark at best.

Thanks in advance,

Ace

i don't have a center console (cursed by the 60/40 split) but could you possibly get a larger metal plate to attach to the underside of the door and use that to screw to the hinge?

just a thought
