heyy guys im looking for an aftermarket head unit. i already upgraded all the speakers, im just in need of a head unit. do you guys think im gonna need an amp 2? any suggestions on a new head unitstyle or company? ne help would be apprecited

whether or not you need an amp, will depend on the output of the deck you put in. My JVC is 20X4, which is enough to power the factory speakers.

Any decent headunit with a good amount of power should be able to power the speakers unless you went with retardedly power speakers in which case youd need an amp...

but for your drooling pleasure im showing you something too look into with a new headunit...

thanks guys for replying. i upgraded the back window speakers in my 99 SE and the front door speakers which wre a pain in the ***. UGH! haha it just seems like the back window speakers can get a lil more bass. im gonna get a set of 12'* for the trunk. do u guys have a 99 SE with a system in it anyone for that matter?

I have upgraded the rear speakers to clarion 6x9'* out of a nissan and I am a big fan of JVC just picked one up for 110 HD radio 50 x4 with aux input in the fron for my Ipod and it really sounds great even with having the original door speakers

Yeah, I misquoted my JVC, it is 50X4, not 20X4.
