Dunno jack about the pcm yet. Only asked how much it cost and how hard to get to...both were not too bad.

Hey guys... I borrowed his Snap on Scanner... wanna get base level readings on my car in case I have issues later...need to know what to look at for idle, WOT and in between. That way I at least know where it was.

When my PCM was in his car it still had the messed up shifts and rogh start. there was 0 change between them. My guess is it my be a sensor on the tranny then?

lets forget about the tranny for now...

would a crankshaft sensor do that?

Possible yes... But usually accompained with stalling, or failure to start...

Did you have good MAF readings, comparable to Gordy'* car?
it IS stalling BAD, and has killed several times... but never failed to start...just lagged..

gordy?

Well, my suggestion is to scan it again. I know it is a bit of a drive, but i haven't figured out how to fast forward the recordings yet... lol This way we can scan and get realtime readings on whatever we want. Maybe we should make a list of all the readings people want to see?

update..

after all the damage fixing, and tune up...we did some testing....

in my moms 97ssei, with brakes fully applied, engine will rev to 3k

in my 95ssei, with brakes fully applied, engine will rev to only 1500

my dad says the torq convertor is bad... we have a spare one, and are debating whether to put it in, or just do the whole tranny...

this would explain why i have no power off the line...
