We also notice when we were scanning that the PCM would indicate the 2nd gear engaugement, but it wouldn't actually shift into 2nd for about two more seconds after the indication from the PCM. 3rd and 4th shifted rigtht when the PCM indicated, no lag like first.

My personaly opiinon on this....Now reading this.....I think that maybe he'* got a bad solenoid for the shift....Or going bad I should say....Prolly sticking. I also think that mybe he'* lost his first gea,r and he'* doing 2nd gear take off'*. Everything that he worked on last weekend in the trans isn't in the same area and the shift solenoid either I don't believe.

That'* my $.02
He is doing first gear takeoffs. The Scn tool confirmed that. I have that spare 4t60e-hd in my garage, but I don't know if all the stuff is still on it otherwise we could use parts from it (only the diff is raged on it).

Should look on E-Bay for a ADTM (correct?) book for the 4T60E-HD trannys....Normally go for about 30 bucks. They're the same books that Tranny Shops use as a guide to rebuilding trannys. I'd imagine that if you had one of those...It'll tell ya where everything should be and how to get at it with what. Did you scan for KR when he punches it?

Didn't check for KR, but I have the run recorded so I should be able to go back and look. I also have the FSM for '95 and it does show a lot of exploded tranny diagrams in it.

Ok this will sound stupid comming from me... Is that going to be a P0670 or P1670?
Legit question. it read as a "670, quad #4" code, but in the FSM it is "P1670, Quad #4" code I have seen a few different codes come from my car that needed a P1 in front of it to match the book. Luckily the scanner I have also gives a short discription with the code that can be fairly easialy matched up to the book..
