If you've got them locally, I've always liked AutoZone. And they have a website so you can do your pricing ahead of time.

Just out of boredom and morbid curiosity, I searched AutoZone anyway. Anywhere from 77 to 140 bucks for an alternator there. Doesn't specify new or rebuilt, tho.

i got a genuine ac delco rebuilt alternator for total price of 82.50. i will install it tonight. and it has a 1 year warrenty which he said i wont need im sure. ill get a before and after pic if possible.
