Rod hitting...
That'* what I thought. If I unplug it, it still runs rough, but the actual misfire code goes away.
Which fits in line with the fact I essentially don't have a cat, running lean, smelling rich, MASSIVE LOUD backfires.
Sounds to me a new MAF and a new cat will fix my issues completely.

Exhaust leaks will cause you to run real rich because it'* letting air in to the system after combustion. So the O2 sensor thinks the engine is running lean, so it adds fuel when it really doesn't need it.
One shop told me aftermarket cats aren't good for this engine? Lol..
got a suggestion on a "good" aftermarket cat? Thinking I'll buy it myself then take it somewhere for them to do.

Awesome!! I'll take it to maxi muffler monday...they said a weld job for it if it can be welded is 20 bucks.
If it can't, I'll just order the ZZP one. Checked it out and you're right on the price!
What'* the difference between magnaflow and OEM? Will I see that big a difference? (Obviously I will compared to my state right now, which is no cat at all. lol)

Please tell me I didn't just make a big mistake.
Drove my car to muffler shop, kinda. Was on my way and it died. Pulled off...if I gave it throttle on start up I could start it, but when I put it in drive and went to go, it would die. Would not start by itself. Cranked but didn't start...
Now, 1)I had a full tank of gas and went about 70 miles on it. Could the car with the catalytic converter detached(so that the exhaust system ends right after the cat) use a full tank of gas like that?!
2)OR, since its pouring like crazy and i did go through a 3 inch flooded driveway, did I get water in exhaust? Permanent damage??
3)OR is the exhaust hole now simply too much for it to handle?
Any thoughts? Getting it towed to muffler shop in morning.

I'vebeen driving with MAF unplugged.
I just now plugged MAF back in and was able to drive it enough to then get it to be bumped into my lot.
Bumper unclipped from side, when I finally get mechanical issue fixed ill try to clip it back. We'll see.
WHY won't it stay running now? Ughh..
