I had almost the same exact problem. It was my AC Compressor. Check the welds on the outer plate (towards the middle of the plate). What was happening was the outer plate broke a weld and the broken weld was hitting the compressor plate thus making that sound. Just see if they any are broken. Hopefully its that and not the engine. =/

Default KDG LIM OH SH** WTH did I do..... HELP!!!!!!!!!

Heh heh, ahem..... the ah riding home part in my last post was refering to the ride home yesterday. Sorry I worded it that way. I was trying to say to much in one sentence. I'm rollin in my E250 paint van now. Speaking of paint what do you think of this color.

It is a Metallic paint called bonneville brown. Have about 4 quarts of it. Anyone interested. Is selling for about 300/ quart. Must buy all 4 to recevie special price of 1000.

If want more send me your good oil. I'll put it in my engine. It only takes about 30 seconds to make. Anyone? Anyone?

"Guess what I found in my oil pan" the caption should have read. How does an L36 NA with only 87000 miles spin a bearing? What do I do next?

That'* some scary stuff.

87K on a 99 L36. Still very coincidental that it happened after you had the upper end ripped apart.

Default KDG LIM OH SH** WTH did I do..... HELP!!!!!!!!!

You know Don, I thought to myself today maybe if I just wouldn't have put in WOT, and just drove it like a grandma, i could've got 200k out of her. I just don't know. This freakin sucks. At least my other daily is my work van and the wife has a town and country if I need to get around. I just wasn't planning on a rebuild. I'll need some advice. Will prob go for the short block and build my top end on it.

Anybody got advice, numbers, etc. for me. Post it, pm me, i don't care. Luckily my bro-in law still has a stand from when he stroked out his vette engine.
