Default 98 SSE PCM

I have a 98 SSE and the check engine light is on as is the security light. I diagnostic checked it with a tech II and it threw a coolant fan relay code. but the fans are both on. I think the pcm is going bad. You guys got any suggestions.
What would be the best pcm to replace the old one.

Moving to 92-99.

This section is for discussion of Performance upgrades, not mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.

It will help us greatly if you would put 98 SSE in your signature by editing your profile.
